Thank you for joining us at the 23rd Annual Diamonds Gala. We are grateful to all who joined us for this special evening raising funds to benefit the exemplary research initiatives and patient care at the Saint Louis University Liver Center. While this was an emotional year as we mourn the loss of Dr. Bruce Bacon, we are renewed in our focus to continue his legacy in the fight against liver disease.

In this, our 23rd anniversary year of the Friends, we honor Dr. Bacon’s memory by presenting the 2025 Dr. Bruce R Bacon, M.D. Impact Award to Dr. Adrian Di Bisceglie. For his remarkable career and close friendship with Dr. Bacon developed over the many years of working together, there is no one more suitable to receive this ward. The Friends of the SLU Liver Center extend a heartfelt thank you for all he as done, and continues to do, to improve the lives of patients with liver disease.
